NACE recognizes Mike Sipe with the prestigious "Event Professional of the Year" award

The “Event Professional Member of the Year” recognizes Event Professionals whose local and national association participation, contributions and involvement have made a significant impact on NACE. This year’s recipient is synonymous with the words “Event” and “Professional”.  This individual’s solid reputation in the industry and ongoing commitment to NACE set a tremendous example for our chapter. His humanitarian efforts  have impacted Kids in Distress in a huge way over the years and continues to do so. He is also a NACE National George Zell Spirit of NACE award winner! The George S. Zell Spirit of NACE award recognizes NACE members whose commitment and compassion towards humanitarianism makes a profound and recognizable impact. These individuals represent the "Spirit of NACE". This award is named in memory of NACE member George Zell, who passed away in 2000. George was the quintessential NACE member, dedicated to his chapter and the national organization through leadership, volunteerism, humanitarianism, mentoring and passion for the catering profession. This individual’s dedication to NACE on a local and national level, as well as her passion for the catering profession in general, embody the very spirit of this award.  This individual’s impact on the local community, both personally and professionally, has been recognized by numerous individuals and organizations.
